Industry 4.0 is considered a fourth industrial revolution that encompasses the integration of technology in manufacturing and industrial processes. It involves the use of automation with robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud computing, and Virtual reality integration while enhancing the productivity and the quality of the product.

Development and Return On Investments immensely. It makes the training more
easy, accurate and cost-effective. Technology helps HRM in the below ways to
organize T&D and ROI.

To carry out effective Training Need Analysis HRM must
assess the current status of the employee, organization, and trends of the
current industry. HRM utilizes tools such as Excel, Power BI, Visier, Tableau
to make accurate TNA. These tools have advanced capabilities such as data
visualization, which makes it easy to identify trends and patterns.

With the evolution of the internet, E-Learning became the

- Now physical training can be conducted using advance technologies such as Virtual Reality(VR). This will be more safer cost effective than on the job training particularly in the industries like manufacturing. This approach minimize the trainings accidents, material wastage and time, leading to positive results on ROI.

For example, multiple trainees can be trained simultaneously, and self-paced learning can be facilitated through online resources. These advantages are beneficial for both small and large businesses. However, implementing advanced technologies like VR may be challenging for small businesses due to the high costs involved. This is why it’s crucial for HRM to conduct a thorough analysis and design phase to select the most appropriate training methods for the organization.
